On June 1st of 2019 on the occasion of the International Children’s Day “ENGINET” company together with “Bakcell” mobile operator held an awareness-raising promo for children titled “BİRLink – I am Your Future” in Baku. The event organized within the framework of the “Safe Internet” project jointly implemented by ENGINET and Bakcell took place in the territory of the parks located in the different parts of the capital city.
During the promo the representatives of ENGINET and Bakcell informed children and their parents about the negative impact of the Internet and talked about the ways of using the Internet safely in order to ensure protection of the child psychology against any kind of inappropriate information online. It was mentioned that the service of filtered (child) Internet provided to BİRLink and Bakcell subscribers was designed namely for ensuring safe and useful web browsing for children and currently this service decently copes with the task of guarding juvenile users of the Internet against its negative influence.
At the end of the event, the children participating at the promo were given various gifts and promotional materials on the topic of safe Internet.
It is worth of noting that thanks to the service of the filtered Internet, subscribers of Bakcell can provide their children with an opportunity of using safe Internet by means of activating the service on any device (mobile phone, tablet or PC).
