Enginet held an educational workshop for students entitled "Internet through the eyes of a service provider”
A leading innovative telecommunications services provider Enginet in cooperation with Azedunet, conducted a training seminar entitled “Internet through the eyes of a service provider” for students of STEP IT Academy.
Over 100 Academy students studying in the field of information technology attended the event. At the opening part of event, students were informed about the main activities of Enginet. It was noted, that currently in the capital and several regions of the country, Enginet under the Birlink brand is successfully developing and expanding the range of telecommunications services through a single fiber optic line.
Then, Azedunet’s CEO Renat Vitkalov made a presentation on “Basic Internet Concepts”. The presentation provided detailed information about the current situation and future development of the global Internet in our country. Other company representatives made presentations on storage rules of server rooms, internet protocols and standards used by local and foreign providers.
In the practical part of the workshop, the participants were shown the optical fiber cable welding process, which raised particular interest by students. During the master class, Enginet employees shared their professional experience with students in this field, familiarizing them with the structure of the optical cable, as well as with the preparatory work and the welding process itself.
